Privacy Policy

I. Scope and Who We Are
Adams Group (“Adams Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and we are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this Privacy Policy (this “Policy”). The Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal information when you use our website and online services that link to this Policy (the “Services”). This Policy also serves as our Notice at Collection for California residents.

Please read this Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your personal information and how we treat it. By interacting with our Services or providing us with your information, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Policy. This Policy may change from time to time (see Changes to this Policy). Your use of the Services, and your continued use of the Services after we make changes as described here, is deemed to be acceptance of this Policy, so please check the policy periodically for updates.

In conjunction with this Policy, you should also review our Terms and Conditions (our “Terms”), available at this link, for a more complete understanding of the rules governing our Services. This Policy is incorporated into and subject to the Terms, in particular the provisions concerning dispute resolution and liability.

II. Children

Our Services are not intended for, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from, children under the age of 16. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 16 years old without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information.

III. Personal Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

  1. Information You Provide Us Directly: identifiers and contact information, including your name and email address. Such information may be collected through forms submitted by you or other authorizations/acceptances you provide to us (e.g., email newsletter).
  2. Information Collected Through Use of the Services: this includes basic technical information automatically sent by your browser (e.g., IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) necessary to operate the website or improve our Services.
  1. Cookies. A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you interact with the Services. You may refuse to accept or disable cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser or device. However, if you select this setting, you may be unable to access certain features of the Services.
  2. Web Beacons. Some parts of the Services and our emails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit the Company, for example, to count users who have visited those parts or opened an email and for other related statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain content and verifying system and server integrity).

Note: We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as government IDs, precise geolocation, financial, health, or biometric data).

IV.  How We Use Personal Information
  1. Respond to your inquiries submitted via the Contact Us form.
  2. Enroll you in and send you our email newsletter (if you sign up).
  3. Operate, secure, and improve our Services (including basic traffic logs and diagnostics).
  4. Comply with law and enforce our Terms.
We may also use personal information as described to you at the time of collection or as otherwise set forth in this Policy. Note: We do not use personal information for targeted advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.
V.  Disclosures of Personal Information We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). We do not disclose personal information to advertisers, data brokers, or for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose personal information:
  1. To service providers that host our website or support email/newsletters, solely to perform services for us and under written contracts restricting their use.
  2. As required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  3. In connection with a business transaction (e.g., merger or asset transfer), with appropriate protections.
VI.  Retention We keep the categories of personal information described in this Policy for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described or for as otherwise legally permitted or required, such as maintaining the Services, operating our organization, complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and for safety, security, and fraud prevention. This means that we consider our legal and business obligations, potential risks of harm, and nature of the information when deciding how long to retain personal information. At the end of the retention period, personal information will be deleted, destroyed, or deidentified. At a minimum, we retain the following types of information for the applicable periods set forth below:
  1. Contact form inquiries (name, email, message metadata): 24 months from last interaction, then deletion.
  2. Newsletter records (name, email): until you unsubscribe or your email bounces/becomes inactive, plus up to 24 months for suppression and audit.
  3. Basic web server logs (IP address, timestamps, URLs): up to 12 months, unless needed for security or legal purposes.
When retention ends, we delete or deidentify the information.

VII.  How We Protect Your Personal information

We use commercially reasonable administrative, physical, and technical measures designed to protect your personal information from accidental loss or destruction and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. However, no website, system, electronic storage, or online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to, through, using, or in connection with the Services. In particular, email, texts, and chats sent to or from the Services may not be secure, and you should carefully decide what information you send to us via such communications channels. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. You are responsible for taking steps to protect your personal information against unauthorized use, disclosure, and access

VIII. Cookies and Online Tracking

  1. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies that constitute “sale” or “sharing” under the CCPA/CPRA. We currently do not conduct targeted advertising on our site.
  2. Our site may include links to our pages on LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.  If we later deploy pixels or embedded social media features that track you, we will update this Policy and, if required, display a cookie banner with appropriate opt-out controls.
  3. Global Privacy Control (GPC): Because we do not sell or share personal information, GPC signals do not change our processing. If our practices change, we will honor GPC signals as required by law.

IX.  Promotions and Giveaways

From time to time, we run social media giveaways or promotions with retailers.  Participation is voluntary and subject to the official rules and the privacy terms of the applicable platform or retailer. Information you provide directly to those third parties is governed by their privacy policies.

X.  Third-Party Sites and Integrations

When you interact with the Services, there are third parties that may use automatic collection technologies to collect information about your or your device. These third parties may use tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use the Services. The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different websites, platforms, and other online services. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) advertising or other targeted content.

We do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly and review their privacy policy.

We do not knowingly sell, share, or otherwise disclose your personal information to any third party for that third party’s direct marketing purposes.

XI. Your Privacy Rights (Including California)

  1. Your Rights. Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
    1. Request details about the personal information we collect and how we use it.
    2. Request deletion of personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
    3. Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
    4. Request a copy of your personal information in portable format where feasible.
    5. Opt-out of sale/sharing and targeted advertising. (Note: we do not sell or share personal information or conduct targeted advertising).
    6. Limit use of sensitive personal information. (Note: we do not collect sensitive personal information).

  5. Non-discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
